The Request

Here is a copy of Governor Blanco's request for aid. Many people are using this to say that she did request aid from the Federal Government. I read it over. She did request aid; In the form of money and debris removal. No request for troups, no request for aid in rescuing people. This is the letter that went out prior to Katrina even making landfall.
